Hundreds of years ago The Tower of London was a royal palace and a prison. Now, in the XXI century it's a famous museum. The ancient White Toweris very interesting. People call it the White Towerbecause its wall are very tall and white. Also it's ancient — king William I built it \(1000\) years ago.

Beefeaters (or Yeoman Warders) are ceremonial guardians of the Tower of London. They began guarding the Tower in 1485. Today there are 35 Beefeaters. The Yeoman Warders and their families live inside the fortress.

Also black ravenslive in the Tower of London. People care and look after them. Londoners believe that while ravens live in the Tower, the country will be rich.
