To speak about hotels and their facilities, you need to know the appropriate vocabulary.

*lobby*	the entrance way in the hotel		You can sit in the lobby and wait when the manager arrives to see you.
*single room*	a hotel room for only one person.		I am arriving alone, therefore I would like to book a single room.
double room	a hotel room for two people.		Double room for two people will cost 50 euros.
*twin room*	a hotel room for two people, separated beds.		All twin rooms at the moment are booked.
*suite*	a luxurious hotel room.		I believe to stay at a suite, you have to be a millionaire!
*receptionist*	a person who works at the front desk.		I should call the receptionist and say that I need an additional pillow.
*wake-up call*	when a receptionist calls a hotel client in order to wake him up.		Excuse me, could you please give me a wake-up call at 7:00, to room 202?
*room service*	in a hotel, room service is when someone serves you food and drink in your room		Darling, let's order room service and have champagne in the room!
*chambermaid*	a person who cleans rooms in hotels		Could you please notify the chambermaid that in room 581 all wet towels should be washed?
*extra bed*	an additional bed in the room		We have an incoming guest, can we order an extra bed in the room?
